I was asked to help redesign the SS Columbia Project website. This is still a work in progress.

One of my responsibilities at the Hudson River Foundation is to maintain their website. It hasn't been redesigned in possibly over 10 years, so I took on the task of converting and redesigning it into a PHP website. I created a dynamic menu, organized and updated the layout, and started a log-in system and database so grantees can log-in and submit proposals, view the status of their grant application, and see their grant history. Since creating this redesign, we have been swamped with other projects, so it hasn't been implemented. Hopefully it'll go live soon!

ABOUT

Melissa Wei

Melissa is a Texas to New York City transplant currently living in Harlem. By day, she works as the research assistant and tag program manager at an environmental research foundation in the city. By night, she is having nightmares about falling from high places in her trusty loft bed. Hobbies include doodling, running, cycling, and reminiscing about the good old days. She is still working on climbing up that slide. Or maybe she's just trying not to fall head first. Some things never change.
